Direct thermal and thermal transfer labels large fleet of presses, both flexographic and digital, that produce four color process work as well as up to 10 PMS colors. labels different than thermal transfer is the fact that they do not require a ribbon to image the label. Instead, the imaging is created by using heat from the print head to begin the chemical reaction on the label material itself.
